Just one real life experience example. 7 years ago, i was super skinny with shitty clothing, acne over the face, shitty breath, didnt know how to talk with women.
Approached a girl whom I considered super hot and was having a oneities for her. Was blown off before I could say second sentence. Today(after like a year of improving myself) I attract looks from way hotter girls than she is and I consider her average. And I am not even close to what I want.
Adrian and BIB both have points. Might be a good idea to get that first lay and then start the AA program. But instead of waiting for negative thoughts to go away and then do AA drills, you should do AA drills to make those negative thoughts go away. Maybe those negative thoughts are there because you aren't talking to hot girls. Flip the cause and effect.
Its good to be realistic to a degree but when all you have is negative thoughts about yourself thats a problem. Maybe you need to set a goal, or get in the gym. Ultimately we can't control 100% of our thoughts but what we choose to believe is 100% our choice. Don't set yourself up with limiting beliefs. Chances are theres someone in a worse situation than you who made it through and did what you're trying to do, and if not, there's no reason you can't be the first.
I think reality is much more mouldable than people would like to believe, because if we believe we could truly do anything the responsibility lies 100% on our shoulders and cant be blamed on outside forces.
