I've done alot of research in the past year and have been referring guys on here to check it out. After pretty much watching hours of vlogs and reading all type of shit on the internet here is the cliff notes: Shave all that shit off the first couple weeks to skin to give vellus hair a boost to go terminal. Minox (morning and night): 1. Kirkland Foam (less oily, better for skin and skin shininess throughout day) 2. Kirkland Liquid (cheaper, but oily) 3. Rogaine (works fine, but more expensive) Dermaroller 1.5mm - maximum absorption Essential Oils: 100% Cold-pressed Jojoba Oil 100% Jamaican Black Castor Oil - this one may make you break out if overdone 100% Peppermint Essential Oil 100% Eucalyptus Oil Tons of info on here: thebeardspot.com/ This dude has the most evident results. Great channel for minox beard. CRAZY PATCHY to solid fucking beard. Kirkland minox (started with liquid, graduated to foam) Before After Side effects are minimal. Dry flaky skin (alcohol in the minox). Acne (on sensitive skin) PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

How important are the dermaroller and oils?
I used minoxidil only for months and plateaued with really disappointing results. Would it make a big difference if I used those as well? |

Totally. I can vouch for this stuff.
I have been on the minoxidil routine for about 11 weeks now and have no plans in stopping any time soon. You can see improvement pretty quickly, and all the scary side effects you read about from doing research on these beard boards are irrelevant. I haven't experienced any single side effect to date. (if you experience them, obviously change course, just saying it's not as common and dangerous as they make it sound). The quick results in these photos are damn near unbelieveable to me. It's likely going to take a lot longer than a few weeks (depending on where you're starting at) but it does work! Goals:

I would follow instructions to a tee before giving up on results. Which minox? How much? How long? These guys spent about 6 months before showing results with full throttle trying shit on the way (oils and dermaroller). I plan on doing all of the above pretty soon and giving it a year
11 weeks and seeing results is solid. Post pics if you got them. Which minox? Yeah, I've been using minox on my head for about 6 years and no side effects PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

I used CVS minox 5% foam for about 4 months. That got me to about a "week 2" beard after a month and I couldn't grow anything after that
Its worth giving another shot though. I didn't shave it at all. Maybe test is a factor? |

Working on the progress pics ! I've kept it completely shaved so far, and usually let it grow only a few days to check for new hair growth.
Each week there are new patches being filled in with vellus hairs, but based on the growth rate it'll be a couple more months before I can let it grow out fully and start taking new progress pictures. I'm sure test levels play a role in the growth, but even if you don't have crazy high levels I feel we can still get the beard we want As long as we stick to the routine. I use the rogaine 5% foam . Easier to put on, and it dries quick. Goals:

You should shave to get a baseline of what is terminal hair and what is vellus hair. I look like Uncle Rico right now (bottom beard shaved and sick stash). I'm going to try growing my connectors first while I finish accutane. I literally have 6 hairs between my stash and bottom where connectors should be Girls grow beards by adding test so it plays a role, but is your test really that low? If you aren't on roids or sarms you should be straight PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

It is the same as minox on your scalp. Dry skin, face flushing etc... I used ROGAINE and lubriderm to moisturize scalp and had zero sides. If i used generic shit and didn't moisturize my scalp, who knows... I don't skimp on recommendations that work. Now I use essential oils because it moisturizes and grows hair. Castor, Argan, Tea Tree, Jojoba, Emu are most popular. I haven't tried minox on my beard yet because I'm on accutane so I am just basing this off of 6 yrs of experience with minox on my head and extensive research on minox beards mostly from these 2 guys vids on youtube and the beard forum As with all minox there are shedding phases which shows minox is WORKING. Weak hairs get pushed off and bigger stronger hairs grow back in. That's why you gotta commit to this shit for at least a year so you can push it through stages Stopping minox lol: tdlr. beard hairs aren't dead like male pattern baldness hairs which fall out after stopping minox. people who lost beard gains didn't wait for hairs to turn terminal. i'm not going to try unless i am committed to a year of minox PM ME if I don't catch your @Wood thread

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
