I've been thinking about going on Accutane for a long time, but I'm kind of 50/50 whether it's worth the side effects.

1) I'm not self-conscious about my acne, and in fact when I take my shirt off the reactions are always positive.
2) It hasn't stopped me getting laid (plenty)
3) Mainly I'm scared of getting depressed/losing my sex drive, because I'm finally feeling quite good :)

That being said, we're here to improve and improvement is not always easy. I have an appointment tomorrow with my derm and she'll probably put me on. This will be my log.

You don't need a script for Accutane. Just order it in liquid form from ironmagresearch or researchstop and measure your dosage with the syringe they give you.

If you're worried about side effects you can always do low doses (15mg/day) and STOP usage if you start to get major depression or ED issues.

Shit should work wonders for you. No offense, but right now I would never guess that women would give you compliments with your shirt off. If you're somehow having success in spite of that acne, then just wait to see how much better it gets once you have clear skin. May I ask where you live, and what kind of women you usually sleep with? Shit must be so much easier than here in west LA...

I'd opt for pharma with this kind of thing if it was me. Term, you will love accutane. It is rarer than people think it is to experience more sides than just the dry skin that you will inevitably experience. I highly encourage it. Literal miracle drug.

Thanks for the support guys. I will try to tough it out even if I get side effects, but dc7 you're right that it's probably best not to worry about it beforehand.

I live in Finland and I sleep with normal cute young chicks 18-24 y/o. I'm not claiming to bang absolute hotties, but I have no doubt that I could if I did the numbers enough.

I remember reading an analogue where a girl says she loves the broken front teeth of a certain hockey player because they're cute. That doesn't mean broken teeth are good looking, but she likes them on the guy because she likes the guy. I even had a chick tell me when I was bulking that she loved my big gut :silly:

That being said, if I can get even just my face cleared up I'm sure that would increase my sex appeal by a point.

Even for me : when I see a girl has weird teeth (NOT disgusting), I suddenly fall in love with her because she seems so fragile. If she has an imperfection (weird teeth, nose, etc.), that's a reason to like her even more.

I saw the dermatologist today. She prescribed me the course without even looking at my chest or back. 40mg per day for a month, then upping to 50mg per day (alternating between 40 and 60 per day). All my liver values and cholesterol were in check.

I'm scared of starting, but I'll do it tomorrow.

Didnt know accutune was such a dangerous drug? , I honestly would love to get on a course as the amount i spend on products to clear up my face its stupid (Over like a year) , Wish i had just got some money together to go to a dermatologist straight away , How easy is it to be put on Accutune?

Besides having super dry skin, I got no side effects at all other than ALL of my acne going away forever. You will most likely not encounter any really bad sides.

How easy is it to get? , Ive been to my doctors 3 times over my Acne (Ive actually had problems with it burning/itching aswell) - They gave me a new cream or something similar each time i went (About a month apart so over 3 months) , Went in the 4th time , They said i see youve tried loads of stuff so ill put you on some tablets for 2 months (Ended last month) , I cant be bothered to go in for a 5th time as its not getting anywhere.

Any advice?

Maybe ask for it straight up? They prescribe it pretty easily here in Finland, but obviously you have to go to a dermatologist.

Yeah thats what i was thinking , Im not sure can i ask to get sent to a dermo? (For free?) , I know it can be done some places but i dont see me being able to do it.

The other option is obviously paying to go to a dermo and asking for it , Which is expensive and i dont know if i could afford that right now (As i said i would of loved to have done it a year ago - Spend stupid money on products and probably would of got it sorted by now if i went straight there)

I think im going to go back into my doctor tomorrow , Tell him ive been here like 4-5 times , Wasted over 5 months trying random products that they think might help , Can i get sent to a dermo , Get accutune or atleast get some tests done or something instead of just going in and them handing me another product that may or may not work.
