The stuff over the last 3 years, yeah. (Getting laid, gaining muscle, coaching, my website, 3somes, my Erotic Art/BDSM Art).
Stuff before that, I just did by becoming obsessed with one goal and going 100% all in, and thinking about it literally 16 hours a day (beating depression, losing 35kg, my photography, music, coding, socialising, etc). The Slight Edge is a million times more efficient though. It forces you to make daily progress and have deadlines, so you're not relying on motivation/willpower at all. It'll feel like your goals are literally guaranteed, since you're constantly taking daily steps towards the finish line. It basically feels like you didn't have to do anything; success just came "for free". Andy / 32yo / Australia

I've made many big life decisions. "Should I do this or that", type of thing. I feel in the end those have always been good decisions. But I always think, what if I could have skipped the last 5 years and just made this decision from the start? The truth is, I would have never made that decision 5 years ago. The journey is an important part of it all.
So usually, all of these big life decisions were preceded by considerable periods of confusion, searching, and especially FRUSTRATION and DISCOMFORT. For example, when considering working for myself I've come upon several things: software programming, vlogging, affiliate marketing, drop shipping. In other words, all over the place! It's only after months of exploration, reflection, many nights watching videos, and endless researching, that clarity starts to crystalize. You have to go on that journey. Agonize and get frustrated to the point that change is mandatory. Then grind and see where that motivation takes you.

Hey Andy,
I saw that last post you put up with the JBP video. I don't know what happened to it. Did you take it down? Anyway, he brought up some good points. The problem is that the only things I ever found engaging had nothing to do with work. Things like sleep, video games, whenever I managed to successfully pull a girl from a bar, and really good tv shows. Also, JBP said that one's own nervous system might not be a good guide for discovering what is meaningful because it may give off a lot of false alarms due to years of absorbing junk either put in there by society, parents, or the person themselves. Traditionally, this prompted people to use religion as an intermediary for guidance. But I'm an atheist, religion is a no go gor me though I've watched Peterson's biblical lectures and am familiar with the views of Dennis Prager. Religion is also highly open to interpretation. You can find verses that May be interpreted to say suck it up and do it you sinful swine, and verses that say do what you love and only in joy blah blah blah. But it hit me that I myself may noy be the best person to determine what I should be doing or how, though I'm all I have. For example, I only ever got laid without paying an escort thanks to GLL. I trusted Chris and Scotty's advice, and though it was frustrating, if one Looks Maxes, lowers his standards, and hits on girls, your bound to get laid at least once in a while, though maybe not by your ideal girls. So maybe it's the same thing for career. Maybe I'm as clueless avout this as I was about women until I learned the truth right here on this site. I need a guide because maybe my own internal compass is fucked. Granted that doesn't mean that I expect anyone to do any work for me. I need to do it myself. But I may need to be pointed in the right direction. By who? Idk. If that makes any sense. I hopr this post doesn't come across as ridiculous ot annoying. If it does, I apologize. I certainly don't intend it that way. These are just notions that swam to the forefront of my mind when I watched the video you had posted. You may eant to repost it if you want so that other readers have a reference as to what I'm talking about so that I don't sound like a rambling idiot. |

If you want a guide to point you in the right direction, hit me up for coaching. None of the issues you're going through are unfixable. I should know, I went through years of feeling lost and out of place, and suicidal depression. If not me, then find another life coach, or keeping posting on here (keep checking in for accountability/guidance). Don't tackle all this alone, mate. -Andy Andy / 32yo / Australia

I feel like you're mixing passion with how to make money. Those are 2 different things.
Making money is always market-driven. This means you find a hungry market and deliver value to it. In the process you develop skills. Later in life, you can use these skills in other business ventures. That's why many millionaires might struggle to make their first business a success...but once they do it...they can replicate the process. They need time to develop the skills but when they do, they are faster (although, not always successful) Scott Adams, in his How To Fail At Almost Anything And Still Win Big, also agrees with me. For every skill you acquire, your success rate goes up. If you want a guide, you can always stick with the big money makers: selling, marketing, copywriting, persuasion (they all feed each other after all) Develop just one of those skills and your income can soar. As for passion, Andy gave you the best answer. Try different things. You won't find anywhere online a walkthrough titled "Demonthatdevours' Life" Finally, regarding engagement, you will never, Never, NEVER be 100% engaged on anything you do. If you are, you just got started with it and you're excited because it's a bright shinny object. After some weeks/months/years of going through the motions, excitement will wear off. The bright shinny object, will become dull and unpolished. And that's OK. 30 years old

Well, I've been listening to the Rational Bible Series by Dennis Prager. I tend to agree with a lot of the things he says.
In the end, if I leave it up to me, I'll never get it done. I don't know where to go from here but I remember Patrick Bet David of the Valuetainment YouTube channel prompting viewers to ask themselves, how do you trend? The way I trend, if I start something it's almost a guarantee I won't finish it. I'm ruled by my emotions and impulses. So, if I keep it honest, I have no clue what to do next. Right now, my habits trend towards whatever will take my mind off of my situation or give me euphoria. Escapism=Audiobooks, video games though I'm not often in the mood for them any more, YouTube videos, and anything that can serve as escapism. Except the gym, I go twice a week. My plantar fasciitis hasn't healed. Euphoria=caffeine, but only upon waking now, under 300mg. Cigarettes, 1 cig every three hours, 1st cig 3 hours after caffeine to avoid heart palpitations and psychosis, and then 1 every three hours to chase the head buzz. I alternate between Newport and Marlboro since Newports are strong so as not to overdo it. I'm a new smoker. I write once in a while, but more in failed attempts at escapism.(Trying to immerse myself in another world and not think so much about this one.) I got laid last Saturday night with a 45 year old bbw. Yay! First time I fucked in the back seat of a car, first time a chick came just from me sucking her boobs, first time a chick asks me when was the last time I had sex because I had cum a sink into her pussy and it was dripping out for a long time. It had been 4 months, but I said a few weeks. Funnest thing I did in literally the last four months. Believe it or not, what I'm looking forward to the most right now is some left wing Democrat winning the presidency, not because I agree with their politics, but for the sole reason of them implementing Universal Basic Income, which I will undoubtedly use pleasure and validation chase and will by no means invest in anything productive long term. I posted this just to show where my head is at.

Universal Basic Income will be the sign America has completely given up on the notion of working hard or being great.

I agree. My inner pussy made millennial bitch wants this because it, acclimated to free and not having bills or responsibilities, doesn't want to have to work. My paranoia and self doubt emotionally believe that it may be the only choice for people like me even though I know logically it's not true. My inner nihilist believes it doesn't matter either way. Might as well take for free what you can, since there being no after life or purpose to existence, what difference does it make. These are the demons I'm fighting daily. I know they're wrong. And even if They are right, that's no way to live.

Does anyone have experience with copywriting? I've been studying copy on swiped.co and I watched a few of Dan Lok's videos on it. Do you have to learn coding and graphic design? I would think that you do for online copy. There's also conflict as to whether or not you actually need a degree. |

Then you have no time to waste brother. Go buy a whiteboard from Target. Write "Authenticity Board" on the top. Write down 10 things that you love doing, or care about. If you had unlimited money, what would you actually be doing with your time? Now, how can you monetize one of those things? Will someone pay you for your expertise? Can you sell products related to something you love? How can you get PAID to do something you care about? Now go do it. 24 Years Old

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.Β
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
