So here's the deal, I want to make money.
I'm already working for a client making a couple bucks per month... BUT, is not enough to live alone.
I'm going to tell something: I'm from Argentina, and if you read the news... things here are going to shiiittt (like always), think Venezuela but in a smaller scale.
So my goal is to get from this country as soon as possible.
I explored several ventures, and one I ALWAYS wanted to do is Niche Sites.
I really want to build some small sites and monetize them.
Make $1000/m in passive income!!
8 months left, better start fucking working lol.
So what the hell is this post for??
I'm making this thread because I will be logging my journey and my experiences! I'm sure some of you will find this useful!
Additionally, I'm preparing a blog to detail my learning there too.
So... next/actual steps:
+ I'm trying to find a hosting that allows payment with paypal balance (all of them ask for credit card even inside paypal checkout and it's driving me mad), I will probably opt for godaddy and pay with my bank account.
+ My blog is already built, along with the domain
See you very soon!
[EDITED: I'm not going to do android apps, I'm go to do Niche Sites]
I tried hostgator but after 3 attempts to explain to support that I couldn't pay with paypal balance, I went with A2Hosting.
They are cheaper, they offer a good discount on the first year, and they understood my problem fast.
If you want to use paypal balance, you have to let them know and they will set up a bill for you with that method.
I was about to recommend Cloudways to you. You can pay with paypal too and it only takes 4-5 clicks to set up new Wordpress websites under a custom cloudways URL so you can actually build sites first before you buy the domain. In my opinion, it's the best hosting provider for people who plan to publish multiple websites.
I already finished studying the material for my first niche site! It was a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I'm glad that I'm doing this because it allows me to expand my knowledge, which I haven't been doing lately.
Anyways, what's next?
+ Organizing the content, deciding how many pages/posts I'm going to build and what exactly I'm going to put in there (this will take 1-2hs)
+ Setup the website! I already registered the domain and I have the design in mind. Will use a wordpress template obviously!
+ Start writing the content! this will take 1-2 weeks because I'm not a writer so it takes me a couple hours just to finish a 1000 words post.
Ooh you are going to like what I'm going to tell you, mainly because GLL loves the "everything in moderation, including moderation" principle (btw I love it too) (no, not Chris! the principle!) (well maybe I love Chris a little bit... lol )
I changed my approach...
Instead of working on several things everyday (experiment, blog, niche site) I will focus on ONE thing at a time.
Right now this means that I have to finish an app (experiment #1)
I started developing a game, it was going to take 2-3 months to finish it.
But why? that's so stupid! it's not going to give me money! it's not going to fullfill my goals!
That's why I decided to drop it.
I didn't even finish my first niche site. That's irresponsible.
I'm also dedicating time to the blog and doing experiments... but really? More dumb timewasters.
RIGHT NOW I SHOULD BE WORKING LIKE A MAD MAN BUILDING NICHE SITES.
MY GOAL IS TO MAKE $1000 per month in passive income by 2020.
+ Making the game is not going to accomplish that
+ Writing on the blog, while good for practice, is not going to give me money
+ Experiments are educative and all... but still aren't going to make me money
My priority right now is getting the hell out of here. Having my own place. Away from this country.
So... what now?
I'm going to build 10 niches sites before this year ends.
Expect more updates from me. (at least 10 of them lol).
Hey man. Like you, I work on a few different projects at once. For the last couple of years it's mainly been eBay, Amazon FBA, blogging and Kindle.
Last year I decided to build a niche website and was really excited it. I bought 4 domains on Wordpress. All in all, this cost me about $1000.
Now I'm only working on one website right now because I've abandoned the other 3.
Lately I'm realizing that I'm spreading myself too thin with all of these projects. If I just focused on one for a few months, the results would probably be exponentially better.
My 2 cents- you're overwhelming yourself by trying to make 10 niche sites in 6 months, and you already know that. Maybe focus on building 1 site for a few months, and then buy one more domain later this year..?
I think a lot of people on this forum, including myself, are in a similar situation in that we have a lot of exciting projects, but split focus, which drags a lot of our efforts.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
