Hey man, deadlines are now going to be a key for me but I have to find the balance of motivation and not rushing to push out shit quality content. I don't plan on "working smart" just more prioritized and less time wasting. This will also allow me to get some more rest and approach my content with a fresh mind rather than slaving 6h/day and working 8h/day and feeling like a zombie.
On a general note, my homepage is now on the first page of google. Doesn't mean much considering there isn't keywords in my title (wish I could change that) but in the last few weeks it has gone from middle of the second page to bottom of the first which tells me I am doing something right. 2017 is here and the warmup is over. 1 full year of hard work has begun.
I have managed to stay away from google analytics entirely which has allowed me to focus on my writing and forget about traffic for now entirely. I also read the 4 hour workweek and I honestly feel as though my productivity has doubled. In the last week I have written roughly 5 full articles and published two that were sitting as drafts. Writing is definitely coming easier to me now and I am finding I really enjoy it. I feel like with a years practice I could even make money writing for other people possibly. I read about 1001 books as a kid so my literary skills are great when I apply myself and my vocab is also superb. By the end of this week I will have 23-24 posts published. My immediate goal is for april 13th which is my birthday. At this time I want to have 40+ posts published, 30 posts written and unpublished and a minimum of 30 ideas that need writing. At the pace I am going now this is attainable forsure IF I focus on writing and forget about traffic etc. Once I reach 40 posts I will look into doing guest posting and possibly paid ads etc, but there is no point in crying for readers when I only have a foundation. When people do find my site I want them to be engaged and wowed. Rough hours invested: 310 February Goals:

So I currently sit at 22 posts published with 15-20 written just waiting editing. I have about a million and one ideas on backup, all of which I want to write this instant.
I have always felt confident in this blog and never doubted it, but for the first time I know without a doubt I can make something happen. If my blog should fail in the long run so be it, I will find another way to make money online. I am totally in the mindset that college is a waste of time. What I have learned in just 3 months from doing this has taught me 1 years worth of schooling. Not to mention it has been fun and even therapeutic for me. Once I reach 30 posts published I will spend a couple days networking trying to build a slight amount of traffic and then I will go straight back to writing. I will repeat this process again at 40 posts but then probably double up on the networking side. Rough time invested: 315 hours February Goals:

Most articles have never taken me more than 3-4 hours to write. Usually ideas flow, but for the fist time ever I felt some pretty strong writers block.
I think I am getting more picky as I go and I want to take quality to the next level. I spent an entire week writing this last post and I still am not done. It is the 10 most important factors to mental health. I had the ideas and knew what I wanted to write about but it just gave me hell. Felt like a project, I can't wait to just get it done at this point. February Goals:

Today was straight up productive as fuck!
Finally got the post out I mentioned above, clocked in at about 3400 words and I am quite happy with it. I will use it to link to a lot of future posts and have a lot linking back to it. It will likely serve as a hub that spiderwebs readers hard. As my writing develops and if I see fit it is one I will continually maintain and improve but for now I like it. Also, I started writing a post today aiming to get 1/3 of it done, and 5 hours straight later I pushed out the entire 2700 word article. Upon reading it for review it is likely the best article I have written yet. My skills are developing forsure, and can't wait to see what I can do in the future. I read a few of my first posts and had a laugh, not sure if I should patch them or bury them. For the first time both my mother and girlfriend told me this week that they can see the potential in making money from this, which made me feel so good because not 1 month ago everyone looked at me like a lunatic with a pipe dream. Goes to show I am growing. Rough hours invested: 330 February Goals:

Thanks Ethan, appreciate it. Hope your site is coming along well!
--- Last night I was laying in bed overcome by a wave of perfectionism. After reading some of my old posts, I was almost embarrassed how shitty they were. I spent roughly 5 hours today patching up two that are important, and will likely finish one more before I go to bed. I have thought of a new strategy. My goal is to release a post every Monday or Tuesday at the highest level of quality I possibly can. The next day will always be used strictly for fixing old articles. This will allow me to consistently find any grammar mistakes that have slipped under the radar, as well as consistently improving my articles. If I release something at 100% of my skill level and then return to it once my skill level has improved 20-30-40% everything will stay up to date, and people new to my site will never know the difference. Of course this will only apply to my important articles and insignificant ones of the past will only receive as much attention as they deserve. February Goals:

I am also realizing my niche is incredibly hard to rank keywords for unfortunately.
Anything with the words: depression, anxiety, panic attacks, mental health etc etc are absolutely dominated by government sites, Wikipedia, or medical sites which I have absolutely no hope of outranking. I need to find a way around this, if anyone has suggestions I would love to hear them February Goals:

I guess the easiest way (not really) would be to find more accurate keywords. If not then target something similar let say Meditation. But then in your website you'd have to have a clear explanation of what exactly your website is about to not hold up the wrong crowd of people. Make sense? I don't know I'm just thinking… casue it's something that I need to do myself. Very good keywords a usually "taken", so to say, and need a work around. Or, a another thing, target keywords that are in between of what you really want (anxiety) and what make sense but not really apply (Meditation)… something like -- Relaxation. AA Program

Buddy, Not sure if you know of TJ's site dominatedepression.com I would do it like him if I'm in your niche. 1) find a chance to give a speech and record a video to add authority (can always speak to empty room or get friends as audience) 2) video will establish yourself as authority in your niche+ youtube traffic. First thing on landing page ppl see. 3) main key money making blog posts laid out in landing page (that's where your most impt blog posts go)

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
