Your going to need something robust for video editing, this video:
Took a 2012 macbook pro to it's knees. The laptop was top of the line for the time, cost about 2K and is/was pretty much maxed out... given its 4 years old but still. And I mean my macbook was hurting, badly I had to make adjustments render and export the video 10+ times to see how it looked becase I am unable to play it in the editor. Given, that video has over 25 layers. If you want something for video editing, I would suggest getting a desktop at this point to be completely honest. Im not sure how deep down the rabit hole you plan on going with your website but your current videos are good for showing your face, it allows people to get more familiar with you but they will never go viral on their own... simply because of quality. If your budget allows for at minimum and I mean bare minimum $500 of recording equipment, realistically more like 1K is what you need and then another 1K for computer to video edit... with that said, you could probably get a similar laptop to mine, used for around 800-1000 (im guessing) you clearly can do high end editing with it but its bare minimum. If your budget doesn;t allow for this I would focus on blog articles and page/google SEO for promotion. Continue to do videos until your budget allows you to do high end videos, but know the videos are more for supplimenting your blog as compared as being big time traffic generators.

Been researching this a bit more. Macbook pro looks like what I'll need, I prefer the 15 inch model as I don't want a tiny cramped little screen and keyboard, however, just checked the price and holy fucking jesus. Are there any laptops that can match the quality of a macbook pro 15 in. that are a bit better price? Is the Macbook pro worth the price tag and the hype?
Definitely going to be looking into high quality youtube videos so will spend the money if necessary (training compilations, workout instructional videos, etc. are some of the things i will be putting on my channel in the upcoming weeks once I get a new laptop that can edit these things) |

No.Macs after Snow Leopard (10.6.
![]() I still buy Win laptops and keep my 17 in Mac for writing code and for learning Python. I always buy used and I try to buy 17 inch monitors. You could always attach a monitor to the laptop. The parameters I usually follow are: 1- has to be win 7 2.has to have at least 8 gb ram 3-cannot be less than an i5(although my current i3 runs as fast as a i5) 4-If you want you can virtualize on a WIndows desktop and use Linux thats is free. In that case, you should have more than 8 gb ram and all the programs you run on a Mac can potentially run on the Linux machine. the two programs I use and that can help you in that are Vmware Workstation 12 and VirtualBox by Oracle. It is pretty much the same as a Mac but you will need to learn some commands for the command line. Everything is free minus the effort. 5-Craigslist.I found a software engineer who sells refurbished laptops that are i5s that he gets from the recycle center. he will upgrade the memory for free if he has it. Try to find someone like that and give him your business and your buddies business. I know I am late but this was an issue for me and over the course of a few months I figured it out. Hope this helps. MyFitnessPal

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
