I like LOGs, they help me stay on track, and seeing as I have a log for everything else in my life on GLL,
I'm going to start keeping a log of what I do each day, and roughly how much dough I'm making for my online biz.

Inspired by Sam always posting that he makes shit loads of money, thanks Sam, I'm joining you building those MBAs! ;)

I thought this would also inspire others to see what's possible online, and start their own online business.

Shouldn't I be concerned privacy? meh, shmeh...

Brief overview of current goals:

*Short term income goal (1-3 months) = £3000 gross per month in SEO clients (I'm currently sitting on about 1K)
*Long term income goal (6-12 months) = £10,000 gross per month in SEO clients
*Main process goal = contact min 10 new business leads per day with targeted offer for SEO
*Setup and expand the affiliate program, setup win win partnership deals so people can
send me buyers, and they can make money at the same time :) :)



Let's get this party started.


Log - March 20th

Today things are starting to payoff, big time!!!

My affiliate program is not even setup yet, and my only affiliate (a local printing company)
just sent me news that I made my first sale from them, a client of theirs needs a website for £250, so that's
£200 for me, and £50 for my partner. Probably about 1-2 hours total work for me, and the rest I outsource
to my web dev ;)

Apart from that, 1 new client invoiced, 2 new clients are 90% certain.

250 pounds, British my man. Nope, 250 just for simple 3 page website. I get £200, probably costs me 30 to pay my development guy. Profit 170, plus hosting 80 a year plus whatever else I can do for them down the line, mobile website, seo etc....

Big money in seo, 250 recurring per month is a good average initial client. I'm in the right industry to crush it ;)

Kind of, but your confusing different services I think.

SEO is monthly, minimum 6 month contract the way I do things.

Website design is one off for the build, but then I get to charge them hosting, which is monthly or yearly.

The SEO is not outsourced to India, nooooooo, only bad SEO people do that. My website designer is PH based, not India.

Yes, it's very big money, because I can make businesses lots of money by getting them top of Google :)

Cheers dude! SEO is pretty complicated, and I don't have time to really explain it.

Basically it's a matter of making Google see the website as high quality enough
to rank at the top + getting good quality links back from other sites, in a nutshell.

Log - March 21st

Great day, even though I wasn't very productive. I was productive in that I pretty much secured a BIG new client.

I went into a meeting after doing my cold call >> targeted video sales approach as shown in post 1 here.

2 hours with the directors of a kitchen/bathroom installs company (big money for them if they new clients
from google searches).

I used my knowledge to pretty much convince them to ditch their current SEO guy and jump into a 6
month deal with me for SEO. I also told them they need a new website.

So overall, just from that meeting, I'm looking at £850 month 1, then a £1500-£2500 contract over 6 months.

Total value first 6 months at least £2300.

So while I got fuck all done, it was a lucrative day. Haven't invoiced yet, so it's not set in stone, but 99% sure he'll sign up.

Log - March 24th

Didn't really achieve my goals as much as I wanted today, as I had to get some annoying content writing
done that I'd been putting off for 3 weeks. Ha, it's done now though, so all gooooood.

Also successfully stole a bad SEO "professionals" client away from him, because he's
doing a totally SHIT job for this company, and he's charging £700+ PER MONTH for
basically doing nothing. It was easy to expose his scheming ways, and now I'm pretty
much 100% on running a new contact with this company, probably at least £300-450 per month.

contacted another hot lead, and he's probably an 80% chance for another £225 per month contact for 6 months.

So if I get those 2, I'm more than halfway to my current short term goal of £3k per month.

Apart from that, didn't invoice any new cash today, and didn't contact any new leads.

But things are moving in a great direction, so reminding myself to zoom out and see the bigger picture.

Log - March 25th

didn't hit my process goals... Got caught up doing other shit that had to be done...

On the positive, those 2 contracts I've been working on are defo on 1, he told me tonight, so that's £850
on a website plus hosting, with at least a few hundred £ per month. the other is 90% too, which will be a couple
of hungy recurring monthly for SEO.

I'll be killing it soon with SEO, also I'm doing some cool stuff to expand my income in different services for
the company, like logo design, etc.

This year is going to be a great expansion phase for my company, where I'll learn about setting up a team,
having managed employees on a larger scale, and perfecting systems in my business so that I don't lose
the quality in my services despite good growth. high level.
