I am experiencing a strange phenomena every-time I drink alcohol, I end up with a fucked up sleep schedule
I very seldom drink alcohol but the past 2 days, about 200ml changes the way I sleep I either sleep for like 3 hours and wake up feeling alert and ready or I can't put myself to bed. I kind of like it, being awake is more hours to learn or take action on something. No doubt ill fall asleep but if i'm not out like a log I think i'm on to something My sister and nephews drink a lot too and they never get much sleep on a regular basis. Can anyone relate? |

People have tried reducing the amount of sleep they needed for centuries, and why wouldn't they? Sleeping seems useless. It's just anything but useless and you can't game the body into needing (significantly) less of it. I bet if you tried sleeping without drinking and set your alarm 2-3 hours after going to sleep you'd be awake and ready too.
When it comes to how you "feel" and how mentally ready you are, sure, you can do with less sleep and feel ok. It makes sense from an evolutionary standpoint, being able to wake up in the middle of the night, ready to flee from a big saber tooth. However, sleeping is extremely important when it comes to repairing the body, and this is just as much a matter of sheer volume as much as it is about the quality of the sleep. "Motivation is fleeting and easy to rely on because it requires no concentrated effort to get. Motivation comes to you, you don't even have to chase after it.
Discipline is reliable, motivation is fleeting. The question isn't how to keep yourself motivated, it's how to train yourself to work without it." |

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
