I don't think there's any scientific evidence to support this theory.
Thanks for everything you guys. It's time for me to move on to bigger things!
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

The body might shut down production of substances that you consume as supplements, most obvious example is TRT.
However, as far as I know (I'm not an expert), your body doesn't produce any of the substances you listed, so your perceived sense of extreme wellness was most likely because of auto-suggestion (mild placebo); you can see this everywhere, I remember when everyone started talking about modafinil saying it made them smarter but that's impossible because it's just a wakefulness agent, they were tricking themselves into thinking it made them smarter. Anyway, point is, keep taking them but don't expect any kind of super wellness from them because it won't happen. That said, another thing you should be taking is probiotics.

Products that contain caffeine I know you can build up a tolerance to but everyday vitamins, proteins, or xtend bcaas I don't believe so.

It's probably either 1. It was a placebo effect 2. You got used to feeling better Most likely nr 2. They havent lost their effect "Motivation is fleeting and easy to rely on because it requires no concentrated effort to get. Motivation comes to you, you don't even have to chase after it.
Discipline is reliable, motivation is fleeting. The question isn't how to keep yourself motivated, it's how to train yourself to work without it." |

Dag, there's a lot of possible reasons why you might have been getting an effect from these supplements initially and not now. You might have overshot the ideal range of vitamin D, you could have gained tolerance to the dopamine effect of zinc, you might have experienced placebo at first, or probably most likely, you have depleted something else. If you describe what effect you got from them then I will give you my ideas on what it might be and what you can try to bring the effects back.
Getting used to feeling better is likely as well, personally I have noticed this quite often. I think what happens is you feel a tiny bit better, then when you realize this your brain gets all excited and you feel great for awhile. Once that wears off you're still feeling better but not as much as before. Not always the case but sometimes. - By 2020: Reach 190lbs, <18% BF (@ 155lbs est. <10% BF)

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
