I always had 180/70 and resting heart rate in the 90s. But I have or atleast had a condition where the first heart beat beats twice before the second. Exercise fixes it for me. Around 120/70 with 55 bpm last I checked.
Get plenty of rest. Learn to relax and drink less coffee or energy drinks. I switched to 1 cup coffee and like 4 Green teas a day vs 4+coffees.
In terms of supplements, you can try citruline malate in bulk. It is 2x stronger than arginine because it isnt nearly as affected by arginase. The enzyme that lowers arginine levels. Take like 4g-9g daily. Anyone who says NO supplements dont work is taking crappy blends or too little.
Avoid ever getting on blood pressure meds. They give you whisky dick 24/7 and eventually you will need to increase dose or ween off it. Weening off this shit is crazy. My friend felt like he was gonna die with the dr having him trying to reduce to every other day or half a pill to get off this shit.
150/90 isn't extremely high, it is "borderline high." An ideal BP is usually 120/80. Our blood pressure usually rises throughout the day. If you check your BP in the AM, it may be at a different level in the PM. It's just like weighing yourself throughout the day. Lots of things can affect BP like sleep, stress, and high salty foods. So try these things...
1. Get more sleep (this affects blood pressure the most)
2. Go to the gym (you already know why!)
3. Drink more water (rids the body of excess salt, etc.)
4. Cut out or lower salt levels and fast food (fast food is full of salt & raises BP. Very high salt levels can stay in your body 2-4 days before returning to normal)
5. Find foods high in potassium (Potassium will lower your blood pressure. Eat at least one banana a day. Banana's are high in potassium & you can take them with you on the go. Search for other foods too.)
6. If you like salt, use a sodium substitute like sodium free salt. It taste like salt. (Pictured below)
I already go to the gym 6-7 days a week and on keto it's just weird that it's been high I've seen it at over 160/100 more than a few times and felt it without measuring even more. I wonder if it being high is why I always have to go to the bathroom? Thanks for the advice guys
Word will try magnesium and does phenibut lower blood pressure because every time I take it I feel fine like I don't have to use the bathroom all the time which is my biggest issue in life right now which I think high blood pressure has something to do with
Well you sure didn't give much to go on. The whole point of having a Doc is to handle your medical issues, so what does the doc say? Anything remarkable about your chem/metabolic blood labs?
As a nurse who works with stroke patients EVERY DAY, I disagree that 150/90 isn't significant. If you don't want to become hemiplegic in your 40s-50's then you should care about it. If you're an average Loser, then you are 20s-30s, and way too young to have BP that high. It's a serious warning sign.
What should you be doing about it? Not looking to natural supplements.
1. Eat real food. Nothing processed. More fruits and veggies.
2. Lose body fat.
3. A combo of cardio, HITT and lifting.
4. If all that fails. Get on a beta-blocker.
Also, I'd be looking at what supplements can you STOP taking. Preworkout mixes and the like? Also, high BP and lots of urinating...I'd be looking to rule out diabetes. Back to the first point though, stimulant supps are going to make you pee more too.
I don't have diabetes and it's not just peeing it's shitting too lol. And I agree that my bp is definitely too high. I've been cutting for a month on keto and currently at about 14% body fat. Would going to like 8% make a significant difference? I'm going to 8% regardless for looks but wondering if it would help my bloop pressure a lot?

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
