When I am not sleeping properly and having apnea the sleep cycle is disrupted enough that there will be no memorable dreams and any that I experience are just fragmented waking dreams, nothing intense or vivid or long lasting.
This is exactly what i noticed. I didn't dream hardly at all. The first week i got my CPAP machine i dreamt almost every night for about 9-10 days straight.
