Sup guys. I went to a community college for my first year of college. It was easy as hell, but boring as hell at the same time. Not the college experience I wanted. So for my second year this fall I'm transferring to UW-Madison. Im majoring in Biochem top of my graduating class. I only have like one or two people I know there and I will be getting an apartment on campus there. Just wondering how I would get into the party scene and have fun. Kinda new to this really. I know Madison has a huge freshman class appx. 5,500 students. So how would I break into that crowd, since im gonna be new and didn't start as a freshman.
I would say the easiest way would be to get involved in Greek Life but I have heard that UW-Madison does not have a big Greek Life scene and it isn't mandatory to get involved if you want to go into the party scene. If you were going to an SEC school then I would highly recommend Greek Life but Big 10 (or Big 11, w/e they call themselves these days) schools are usually more relaxed on the Greek Life scene than schools in the SEC (where it is a big part of campus life), ACC, or Big 12. My friend goes to Minnesota and he is a GDI, is having the time of his life there.
Outside of rushing a fraternity which I think might help you here, I would also recommend getting a job on campus at a bar or club.
From what I have heard about UW-Madsion (have friends there), it is laid back and a lot less cliquish of a school than other big schools where Greek Life runs the campus. I wish I would have gone there but due to money issues I couldn't afford it. Rushing a fraternity is always a sure thing when it comes to getting into the party scene because you are practically forced into it so even at a school like UW, it might end up being your best bet.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
