You can say something if you want. It says in the description
No verbal necessary. You can verbally stop them if you want. Just say, "Hey, high-five."
Use your imagination. The important thing is to get the high fives, not the method by which you get them.
yeh i failed this day yesterday, only managed 5 reps. But the easiest one i got was when i stopped a girl to (genuinely) ask for directions and high fived her as i left. Was planning to initiate conversation first for a few of the early ones when i retry tomorrow
Big goal: 100 lays - so far 12/100
2019 tally: 6 (2 cold approach)
Stuff to do:
Stick to cut and gym schedule
Approach every day
i just did day 14 last sunday.
it was hard because, it seemed to make no sense to me to the girls.
so for most of the girls, i made up some pretext.
"nice hat!" - then hold up your hand
"hey how are you?" - then hold up your hand
if they look like sports fans/sporty "superbowl sunday!" - then hold up your hand
" how is your shopping going?" <wait for positive response> - "allright!" - then hold up your hand.
i'm using pretexts less now, but if/when you need 'em, use 'em.
use them as a crutch till you can get rid of them.
Wait.. we actually have to get the high five? I thought just going for it counts as a rep cause the reaction doesn't matter. I counted my high five rejections as reps.
The reaction doesn't matter, but in my mind the rep is not "completed" if you don't get the high-five. That's also what I understood from the audio (it might have been the double high-five audio), where Chris said something like if it takes over 20 attempts to get 10 high fives then you should go home.
But we're not being graded. This is just for ourselves. So I think either way is fine. The approach is the hardest part anyway.

h-bomb is right - use a pretext if that helps. The first time i did the drill, I used "High 5 because it's Friday!".
That worked well. After you complete the day successfully, you will not need the pretext anymore.
Make sure you complete this day well - for me, it was probably THE MOST IMPORTANT day in the whole program because it is far outside of the comfort zone and you attract a lot of social pressure. (people noticing and stuff)
The good news is - once you've done it a few times successfully, you'll be able to do it for the rest of your life

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
Kratom is next!
