What's good boys. Here come the journal.
Petition signed. I figure the novelty of writing this shit up will wear off sooner or later- at which time I'll be making this into a vlog thread. Until I start drilling and getting some content to spiel about- it'll be a written log. Short and sweet summary of my circumstances: - Full-time job, 9am-6pm, Monday-Friday, 1 hour lunch break + hours after 7pm + weekends (and any time spent in public transit) = time to put the WORK in. Pre-Day 3 spiel. I've always had a shitty little preconception that online dating is something I should be steering clear of. I've always been under the impression that it was for those who lacked the face-to-face skills to get shit done- and until I OWNED that skill, I had no business doing it. I realize that sort of thinking is counterproductive. So fuck it, I'll be doing it tomorrow anyway. Let's get this shit rolling son. |

OKC Done!
Quick run down of the shit I got done today: - Work from 9 - 6 - Made OKC Profile - Hit up 20 girls in 30 minutes (I should make this process better/more efficient, I know. Numbers game boy. Too much thought was going into each message, check.) - Built a new gym regime incorporating my new boxing gym that will save me from having to linger around the squat racks waiting for fuckers to finish their sets. Nice. Day 4 coming up son! Feeling excited about getting these drills started. |

Result: Simple and easy. Good way to get started. 5/5 Off without a hitch. 1 in the morning, 1 at lunch, 3 on the way home Thoughts: A nice way of re-iterating something that I'm already supposed to know. On the simplest level, people are generally friendly and approachable. In the context that they aren't, it's far more plausible that it's a personal issue of theirs- than ANYTHING to do with you at all. Sweet. Roll on Day 5. |

Result: Simple enough, unlike Day 4 I did these consecutively. Miss-read the 5 THEN 5 so I did the first five, fast. In the 2 minute walk from my place to the train station, I asked 4, froze up on the train (wtf moment), then last one as soon as I got off the train. (about 10 minutes total) For good measure, did 2 more. Still didn't fulfill the requirement, so Day 5 tomorrow. Got to READ PROPERLY. Did give me a realization though. Thoughts: Literally AS SOON as I stepped foot onto the train, I froze up. I was 4 for 5 at this point, had a chick in front of me with a watch on, another chick to my left on an iphone- still didn't execute. Made me realize the train is a far more uncomfortable zone for me than the street- and I have a long way to go to killing off this AA. I'm taking the right steps, got to be consistent. Good realization, good drill, but I'll be doing Day 5 again tomorrow, and I'll make sure I execute on the train as well as the street. Day 5 re-up tomorrow. |

... Day 5 Re-Up Today. Result: 10/10, consecutively, within 10 minutes on the walk back from training. Fully aware that the drill, to the letter, says 5 then 5 fast- So, I took out the chill time in between the two- and pushed myself to go the full 10 in a shorter amount of time. 2/10 were executed on the train, felt slightly less anxiety after the other 8 that had come before it. Proud, it's the little successes I suppose. Thoughts: I hit the drills hard after hitting up boxing training- I was feeling tired and run down as fuck, and hadn't touched on the drills all day. I had boxers' high though, that feeling of determination and last ditch energy you get in the 'last round'. So the anxiety was very minimal. The system works so far, haha. The first 7 I executed were within no more than 30-45 seconds of one another, if that. Short break, 2 more quickly. Last one was once I'd sat down on the train. Feels good man. Day 6 tomorrow. |

November 29th - December 1st
Result: November 29th: 5/5 Time, Leave; 5/5 Time, Directions, Leave; 0/5 Time, Directions, Have you been there?, Leave. Didn't commit to doing the drills during the day. Friday being the final workday of the week was pretty intense. Ended up hitting relatively hard on the way from work to go meet with some buddies and buddettes for a night out. Admittedly didn't put priority on executing- but managed two-thirds on the way to see the buddies- then forgot all about the drills from that point onwards. Had a sick night out, lots of fun, OWNED this fucking bar. Didn't go home that night. November 30th: 5/5 Time, Leave; 5/5 Time, Directions, Leave; 1/5 Time, Directions, Have you been there?, Leave. Didn't go home Friday night, had a bombass Turkish breakfast then met up with this chick for some bro-time. Cool chick man. Chilled and rolled around with her pretty much all afternoon- ran a couple drills while I was with her because my phone was legit dead, and we were legit lost. No endgame for this chick, should probably be rethinking that though. Then parted ways with her for a little house-party get together thing. Went there unshowered and grotty as fuck, still another sick night and day though. December 1st: 0 on all accounts. Family-time, Self-organizing time, All day. Run-down of the weekend: Good weekend, bad execution. The approaches I did execute were smooth and comfortable for the most part. But I feel I NEED to re-up day 6 and hit all the bases. Never thought I'd be waffling on week 1 this much, but every approach I feel is a good approach- so I'll stick to it- feeling the comfort building, with what little I've done, so fuck it, I'll keep it going. OKC update: 3 numbers off of OKC today. 2 of 3 basically asked me out. Grabbed a facebook off of there a couple days back, works on the bar in a club I used to frequent. Sweet. Bearing in mind this is after 80+ messages. Been on there for 5 days. Decently cute girls. Couple meetups next week likely. Nice. Day 6 re-up tomorrow. |
