I have noticed that I am an analytical type person and find it very hard to be spontaneous. Eg I find it very hard to just decided to go and talk to girls in the moment but if I have written down a goal of talking to 3 women a day for a week I am much better at psyching myself up to do it because I don't want to fail. I've tried just making myself do it everyday and I can't do it, also big fear busting sessions help but aren't making me be able to go and do it on my own. With a friend there to push me it's way easier but by myself I just can't do it which is bad because my goal is to meet women during the day and make it a casual thing, at the shops, or while i'm walking through the park, or while i'm on my way somewhere, or in a book store etc. I can't always have a wingman with me when this happens so I have to learn to make meeting women something I love and can do whenever I feel like it and I think the key to doing that is to beat my social anxiety while i'm by myself. I have made a weekly plan that includes running 4x per week and 2x per week weight training, preparing high protein, high fat meals for fat loss and studying 3 different subjects and I have been successful in keeping to this plan for about 4 weeks now, it's the longest i've been successful at sticking to my own personal goals for like 3 years!Β So i'm going to add the social anxiety exercises to this plan, i've got about 3 days per week I can slot in to do this, would this be enough? Usually these times get filled doing pussy type activities like facebook, drinking, unproductive meetings and bumming around with friends, especially fucking FACEBOOK! I know this is a priority so I'm going to try, really try to do these exercises 3x per week during the day and get over my fears, the reason I put is off is because i'm still scared of what people think of me but it really doesn't matter and I got to stop talking about it and do it, so this is my plan. |

Ok, went to the city today and did:
1. Ask for the time, leave 2. Ask for time, directions, leave 3. Ask for time, directions, say thanks then a compliment, leave 4. Ask for time, directions, compliment and thanks, leave On the bus I was feeling some mild anxiety and excitement about doing this and anxiety was highest when I did number 3 (time, directions, compliment.) Anxiety went away very quickly and I kept going. I was nervous about checking my phone after asking for the time haha and also getting caught talking to other women by the woman that I just asked. I did 3 rounds of this drill in about 30 mins. I just wanted to get through them quickly and get home because i'm feeling tired. I got a few very friendly responses but after I gave a compliment women would walk away real quick. I didn't really care. Got a few very rude responses and felt like dirt in the moment, but afterwards it didn't faze me at all. After the second round of doing this I felt kinda fatigued and felt like I was bothering girls and wanted to stop. It was kinda like a mental workout and I'd met my threshold for the day. I really don't know if 3 days a week is enough? It's very hard to do more since i'm studying over time, going to the gym and learning a language and doing these things 3-4 times a week as well and going out to the city on weekends to drink and pick up chicks. I should really stop the drinking. Today Time = 13 Time and directions = 8 Compliments = 5 Total = 26 |

Asked the time once today and did a few compliments, but they were half asses. About 4 approaches today. Got to keep this consistent.
My study is nearly finished in a few weeks which means I'l have most days free to do this. I was counting Tues, Thurs and Friday, but forgot the weekend, this makes it 5 days a week of drills I can do. Surely this should be enough to break this shitty fear and anxiety right? |

If you only do it 3 times a week, you will lower your anxiety of course. If you do it every day (5, 6 days) this will happen much faster. You have a tight schedule with lots of activities, great, but if you want it, you have enough time to do the drills every day, I am sure! Priorities!
Going to GYM doesn't take so much time, about an hour. Learning some languages and your studies... I am pretty sure that you will find the time to do this drills more often!Β ![]() Keep going! |

Attempted to do the drills today in the city and did:
time: 2 Directions: 1 Just couldn't do it today, some kind of mental block I think and had no motivation for it. Had to force myself to go to the city and do it. FUCK! I get rejected even when doing time+directions+compliment. If I do it in a super super nice voice and overly polite way then I don't really get rejected, but it's not about rejections or good outcomes, it's about not giving a shit. I have to do this ever single day. It feels like a chore but I got to do it anyway. |

It's the "by the way you are cute" part that I struggle with.
Monday Nov 5th In the city did Time: 1 Time and Directions: 2 Time, directions and compliment: 2 Only compliment: 3 Total = 8 Time taken = 45mins I freaked out last time but this time I was more at ease that I had anxiety about this and let myself walk around with it. I can compliment a girl if she's alone, not on phone, not walking quick and looks friendly. In the city there are so many people in a rush and also so many crowds and i'm scared of the crowdedness and freeze up before doing a compliment. TIme and directions I can do anytime, anywhere. One day at a time, I'll beat this. |

hey SP-- I want you to do this- write down EXACTLY what you are doing to do before you go out EXACTLY which drills, and how many times you are going to do them rather than 'as many as possible' for now you will get a sense of accomplishment from executing your gameplan Please no Private Messages. Thanks Tatu, yes I"m doing the newbie drills now, but not consistent with them enough.
Today I did: Time = 1 Time + Directions = 1 Total = 2 I planned to do just a little bit today because I haven't done the drills for like a week. I also did this around the town not in the city. It was ridiculously easy but I had fear to do the compliment. This following week starting tomorrow Monday to Friday I plan to do the 'mr total newbie' drills and do them 2x, so this will be asking the time 20 times, time and directions 15 times and 10 compliments by the end of this week. time and directions are piss easy it's just the compliments now but I plan to get over it in the next few weeks. The reason I been a pussy is because I do the drills in the middle of the busy city, usually other people will hear me when i do the drills and I have a fear of this. |

The 2nd chick I asked was a total bitch and put me off. Was like it was sooooo hard for her to take 30 sec of her life to answer 2 questions. I wanted to do the "thanks biatch!" drill on her. Still lots of anx today doing this in the city. I can do this stuff easy with a wingman but by myself is HARD! I have some fucking block in my head. Wil beat this and never give up till it's gone. |
