Today I:
- Asked a girl for the time - Asked a girl for the time and if she liked my jacket - Asked a girl for the time, if she liked my jacket, and that I had just bought it and couldn't decide - Asked a girl for the time, if she liked my jacket, that I had just bought it and couldn't decide, and that I was going to keep the tag on it so I could return it (X2) Today's drills were actually super easy. I feel like I am over the hill so to speak and things are getting easier by the day. I have really no problem at all approaching girls for these drills and the reactions don't affect me good or bad. Either way they are just amusing to me. Maybe I should have done the challenge drill but oh well. I think things will get a little tougher at some point. Also this drill is a bit of an ego boost as I got a lot of compliments about my jacket. |

Yesterday I:
- Asked a girl how it was going - Asked a girl how it was going and if there's a hair salon nearby - Asked a girl how it was going, if there's a hair salon nearby, and that I was getting the Justin Bieber haircut - Asked a girl how it was going, if there's a hair salon nearby, that I was getting the Justin Bieber haircut, and asked what her favorite hairstyle for guys was (X2) Today I: - Asked a girl how it was going - Asked a girl how it was going and if there's a hair salon nearby - Asked a girl how it was going, if there's a hair salon nearby, and that I was getting the Justin Bieber haircut - Asked a girl how it was going, if there's a hair salon nearby, that I was getting the Justin Bieber haircut, and asked what her favorite hairstyle for guys was (X2) Forgot to post yesterday. Overall this drill wasn't too bad but it was a little bit more difficult than I was expecting. Yesterday went pretty well and I got some good reactions but today I started out just not feeling like talking to anyone and it didn't get much better for most of the time I was out. Everyone else seemed to be in a hurry or not in the mood to talk. Bad reactions don't affect me too much but today it was one after the other and it was hard to get into a social mood. When I got to the last set for this day I was about to go home because it had gotten dark and there weren't very many people out but I stopped myself because I just had to do one more. The next two girls I stopped wouldn't let me finish and I was walking down a dimly lit street so I felt a little weird but I kept at it. Eventually I got to a busier area by some shops/restaurants and I saw a really cute girl just standing on the sidewalk with a dog. I was honestly pretty intimidated and wasn't expecting it to go well but she smiled at me as I approached and the interaction was great. She laughed when I said I was getting the Justin Bieber haircut and when I asked her what her favorite hairstyle for guys was she said "Take your hat off so I can see what you've got to work with." When I took it off she had this big "I know what you're doing" grin on her face and she said "It looks like you just got a haircut." I said "Oh really?" and she just kept smiling at me. I feel like I really made her day and it was a pretty good way to finish. I'm glad I didn't quit. @SammyBosco Thanks man!

Today I:
- Asked a girl for the time, said "thanks" - Asked a girl for the time, if she knew where the nearest restroom was, said "thanks" - Asked a girl for the time, if she knew where the nearest restroom was, said "No I mean the men's room", "thanks" - Asked a girl for the time, if she knew where the nearest restroom was, said "No I mean the men's room", "I hope it's clean", "thanks" - Asked a girl for the time, if she knew where the nearest restroom was, said "No I mean the men's room". "I hope it's clean", "The men's room is usually gross", "thanks" (X2) Today was honestly a grind. Like I was able to power through just fine but every time I said "No I mean the men's room" it always left the girl really confused and the interaction always just got derailed because it made no sense. It was kind of funny at first but by the end I was thinking "What the fuck is this drill" and was just trying to get through it. I probably had several of the most awkward interactions of the whole program so far on this day. I might try to change up how I'm saying it tomorrow to see if it can go any better. Otherwise I'll just have to power through again.

The drill was about the same as last time, didn't make much sense but wasn't overly difficult. There weren't a whole lot of people out today and these 8 interactions (plus a couple where the girl wouldn't stop) took me about two hours. I've been thinking that since the weather is getting colder (and will get much colder as I live in Minnesota), it's now dark out when I do these drills after work, and there are noticeably fewer people out, it might make sense for me to stop going aggressively at this program until the weather starts getting a little warmer in the spring and instead going hard at online dating as I know I could improve a lot at this and get good results fairly easily. I don't plan on quitting this program completely but I am starting to question the return on my time invested since at the end of the day my goal is to get laid and I don't have a lot of time to devote to cold approach. Maybe I just do these drills in longer sessions on the weekends so I don't lose everything I have learned so far and can still make a little bit of progress over the winter. Also, these drills have displaced much of the time I usually would spend at the gym so it would be nice to make some progress there as well.

I hear you on the ROI with winter. But how about this: at least do one drill approach every time you get groceries. And every time you get coffee or otherwise in a store. True outside when it's dark is not ideal but if you're inside and it's well lit, shouldn't matter the season.

@RogerRoger Yeah you're right man, I can definitely keep making some progress on this during winter as there are plenty of opportunities for approaches in my day-to-day.

Hey bro good stuff, I've been at this since August and I've seen tons upon tons of guys swearing that they'd finish the program and never make it past day 10, you're so deep in this to give up or slow down now. I have had the same thoughts that you're having and I've been slacking off for the past weeks. I'm in Boston and today's temp is in the 50s, going into the 40s next week, pitch black when I get out of work around 5, COVID, I felt like all odds were stacked against me and I should just take it slow. But NO! This is just our minds making up excuses trying to justify our AA. Yes, it is going to be harder, but if you could do approaches on a freezing night with people wearing masks and giving you the weird looks, you will fucking kill the game when summertime comes, post-COVID, people are thirsty as fuck from 2020. Your return on investment is going to be justified, the great ones work when others are asleep. Don't make excuses for yourself, there's never a perfect time to do things we're going to get around to and we waste away our lives waiting for the stars to align.

@jc127 I definitely understand what you're saying and I agree with you. It probably is me making excuses to some extent so thanks for calling me out. I do also think that being strategic about accomplishing your goals is not something that should be overlooked. I'm not saying that I can't do the drills in the current circumstances but I think that the amount of experience I would get in a month of these drills right now I could get in a few days when the weather starts getting warmer and people aren't afraid of going outside. So instead it might be a good time to go hard at another one of my goals like getting better at online dating or putting on more muscle. I definitely am not gonna quit this program but I was going to put it on the backburner temporarily.
That being said, our governor just closed all gyms until further notice so I think I am gonna try to focus on these drills a bit more going forward because I can't go hard at the gym anymore. And as for online dating, I haven't done anything with that in the last month so I was kind of full of shit but I just need to put some sort of plan in place. But as for the drills, I went out today to the place that I had been doing the drills before to check it out and there were so few people out compared to just a month ago. I might try to check out the mall to see if that is any better otherwise I might have to hit up grocery stores or try something else. |

Go downtown and just walk around, I've been doing that whenever it's not raining out for 1-2 hours after work, even if I just do one a day it keeps me in the zone. You know my circumstances, it sucks rn in Boston, and if you're keeping up with my logs, you'd also know that I've had milestone days since I last posted here, pretty soon I'll be getting dates and lays. If there's a will, there's a way, it really comes down to how bad you want it. Your next post should be a drill report, it's how you earn respect.

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
