I came to the same conclusion as you have about a year ago at least Andy, and resolved to get fit but only sort of did.
I know it's harsh but keep your eyes on the prize - As Dan says if you're having success now as you are (and lets be honest, you are, in the bedroom), then you are going to just ruin girls after 6 months in the gym.
I'm in Dag's camp - Prioritise beating AA and then it's gym time. It's the deicision i've personally taken and it's agonising because I really WANT to sort my body out in order to get laid. When I was 19 I was pretty buff and it gives you such superiority.
But we need to apply occam's razor - If it's gym or beat AA then invest in the AA and leave the gym until after the program's over. The quicker you 'finish' the AA program, the quicker you can get in shape and just annihilate life (we all know this is a lifestyle we've chosen, and it's holistic).
(Obviously if you can do both then fucking kill it, smash it out).

@Dan: Yeah man you're right. It's just hard to see the forest from the trees sometimes. You and Mike are right, I AM having success in the bedroom. I have 3 chicks I can text right now to fuck, my favourite is coming over tonight. I have 3 dates with new chicks already set this week (and a few other girls numbers). I've been so focused on "I can do better" that I've forgotten to stop and smell the roses once in a while.
We both kinda still have "chubby faces". If we can get laid by average/semi-cute girls now, imagine what we'll be able to do after some hard time in the gym...
@Dag: Yeah she is. Quite a few girls that hot are now talking to me (they just ignored me before), but it never goes anywhere. Twice I've gotten a number from girls who are almost as hot as her, but they flaked. I can get average girls pretty easily, cute girls with lots of effort, but I also want to be able to get the HOT girls like Chris/Scotty/etc does.

ETA, on a more serious note, consider one thing re. weight loss and fitness.
For me personally, it takes around 45mins to complete a drill. I do on average 1 drill a day. I walk for at least 15 minutes to the place in which I do the drill. This means i'm walking for an hour.
So, if you're anything like me, you've been walking for 1 hour every single day for as many days as you've done drills (more or less).
Sooo.. You see where I'm going with this.. That's an hour of exercise a day, which is good for your posture, your heart, your immune system, your brain and all the other wonderful stuff.
It's not lifting weights and it's not really high tempo, but seriously there will be an effect, in terms of metabolism and in terms of POSTURE.. Personally for me exercise was primarily about posture and secondarily about looking buff. Learn to walk before you can fly, etc.
So essentially, the drills also provide a great foundation for the gym once they are finished (done with and no longer done). We'll all be healthier for it and in a great place to start.
