I bought a Hercules on Dec. 9th and around March of this year, it became pretty much unusable. I had noticed that for some time, cracks had developed at the top of the device. Finally, the top of the valve fractured so badly that the cap that holds the valve in would fall off easily. Bubbles would stream in strongly from the top.

Instead of going through the return process, I ordered an X30 in April. I liked this model much better, but after just a couple of months, it too developed cracks and now streams in air. The X30 was never dropped or abused, but these stress fractures just seem to occur on their own. I've now contacted Bathmate.ca, and was told my message was forwarded to the manufacturer. We will see what happens, but I'm not very optimistic that any replacements will be any different. I will attach a photo so you can see the cracks. The blue Hercules is similar.

That's so odd how you guy's are getting some of these and the valves are cracking. I have had my Hercules for 7-8 months now and it works like a champ and I have even dropped it on it's valve twice.

The x30 I had a broken valve on but the newest one I just got about a month ago work's flawless.

Same here, the June batch seems solid. Definitely get a replacement. They will send you a new one, and the updated models are flawless.

Well I hope you guys are right and that something has changed. Seems like it might be a long process though as I still haven't heard back from the manufacturer yet. We will see! By the way, it was mentioned in another similar thread, where someone was wondering if it had something to do with certain colors. Well my Hercules is blue and my X30 is clear, and both have the same issue.

Follow up to my post. I was told by a representative of Bathmate.ca that I should allow 24-48 hours for a response from the manufacturer. One week has now passed with no communication. I sent a follow up email today.

Don't worry about the 30days return thing, they are aware of this problem in that batch of pumps and will make it right for you. The new x30s are really good and we'll get you one of those, if you like.

Have gotten 2 Hercules now, and both times they had cracks. 1st time was in the body, 2nd was in the valve like yours.

It's going on 2 months since I told Bathmate i needed a 2nd replacement. They said they'd get to it right away and I still haven't seen a damn thing in my mailbox.
Every goddamn day. Get in there.

I am having the EXACT same problem.  Almost identical cracks in my BM hercules and streaming bubbles.  I have not dropped or knocked the device on anything, they just appeared.

I unfortunately did not order from bathmate.ca, so I will have to deal with the manufacturer directly.

I wanted to follow up and let everyone know that they sent me two replacement pumps. Overall, the service was good. I'm not all that optimistic that these will hold up any better, but we shall see!
