First off, want to say thanks to all you guys for some awesome advice. str8chaser2002 and the rest, you guys have been a big help.
So I've been Jelqing and using the bathmate for just over 4 months. About a month ago, was on a 2 on/one off, but recently switched to 5 on, 2 off (170 jelq in morning, 14 min bathmate at full pressure in evening). Definitely noticed some increased expansion after the 2nd recovery day, but I could tell by day 5, my unit was tired.
So I have 2 questions for some moree experienced guys:
1) I've been starting my bathmate timer at 18 minutes, pumping gradually to full pressure by around 14 min. So ill be at full pressure for 14 min. Expansion is good, just some fluid retention. Is this ideal?
2) it seems like I've been stuck at the same girth (checked on off days) for the last month. Been using EQ as a deciding factor in how/whether to train, which has been good, but wondering if maybe I need to modify my jelqs or something to get more gains.
Overall, if anyone has a decent routine for a newbie whose been Jelqing/Bathmate for 4 months with no prior PE experience, I'd appreciate it.
EG: 4.5 (fluctuates higher and sometimes lower)
Instead of separating your exercises, incorporate them.
Warmup. (Most important step. Not only does it loosen everything to prevent injury, but also allows things to stretch and expand more than if cold.)
Bathmate 5-10 mins depending on your EQ going in. Get a good pump and then do your jelqs, then back in the Bathmate for 10 +/- mins,
A body builder creates microtears in the muscle while working out and while they rest(your body repairs itself when you sleep), the muscle heals and fills the microtears in with new muscle, thus making it bigger. Typically, they workout one day and rest 6 for each muscle group. 5 ON / 2 OFF might not be enough recovery time. Give 3 ON / 1 OFF a try.
Is my current regimen and it's working great for me. First time I split my bathmate time up and added jelqs was my first "All day pump".
Thanks for the advice man. I usually warm up for 10 min before BM and Jelqing. I was actually thinking of switching to a 3 on-1 off/2 on-1 off schedule to split up recovery days.
I'll give the jelq between BM a try. Still getting the hang of jelqs at the moment. Feel like if I use a light grip, the bloods not really moving, but too strong a grip, it winds up getting overworked and lose erection.
For anyone out there (StaticDischarge included) already combining jelqing/bathmate in one session, any recommendations on how many jelqs to do beforehand? Currently at 50 to ease into it but curious if that’s enough.
Beardly, I'm pretty new to the whole PE thing myself, but have done a lot of reading and with my past in weight lifting, I totally understand the need to rest. When you rest is when you get bigger. Really, you might consider taking 4-7 days off and start a new routine.
I'm 3 months into it and have gained about .5" both length and girth. Have only been stretching a few weeks with a half-ass effort and didn't really see any length gains until I recently took 3 days off. My first day back in the bathmate I was .25" more than the last PE day/ever. I'm guessing seeing a 1/4" increase from one PE day to the next is huge in my book. Always seem to make progress the first day after a rest and that should speak volumes about the benefit of taking rest days. I started 50 jelqs/wk and added 50/wk and stopped at 200. i get bored and don't have an hour for a PE session.
I also added "scrunches" (?) yesterday and I dunno if it was the scrunches or jelqs, but it was huge afterwards. Thickest I've ever seen it. (Scrunches: pinch off the head and base, then scrunch it together.)
