I couldn't find any posts to determine where that gentleman may have started out at, but the post discussing his interest in the XX50 said he was at 8.75" x 6.75". He felt that he had to struggle to get a "good" pump out of the X40 now that he had attained a greater size. Going off of the XX40 size guide, he was nearing the recommended "entry level" limitations of the device (~9" x 2.2"(D)).
I have been on the fence about which device to buy for some time now, but only recently decided to get serious about making the purchase. There is currently no price difference between the XX40 and the XX50, so that makes the decision more difficult for me. My stats:
Widest diameter: 1.75"
The sizing chart on their website says I should go with the XX40, but that doesn't even work right (asks for girth when really wants diameter). Plus, the ruler next to the model lineup doesn't exactly inspire a whole lot of confidence (if you draw lines from the differing end points, they don't line up on the ruler accurately). I'm also a little confused as to what metric they are using to recommend maximum girth entry points.
The user in this video seems to think the pump on the XX models is virtually useless, and also hates the inner ring because it inhibits girth expansion.
Anyway, I feel like I've done all the research I can on my own. Now I need some advice. I think it would be awesome if I could get up to 9" X 7". Any bigger and I worry I might size myself out of certain females, so I would consider the whole process a win if I were able to get to 8" X 6". I've never had any complaints about size, but for years, Hollywood has been doing a lot to put "size envy" on just about every man's mind. Would not surprise me at all to learn that Warner Bros had a dick pill to sell. Anyway..
Will I get enough use out of the XX40, or should I go for the XX50? Do these things only last a couple of years and need to be replaced?
Help, advice, or comments are appreciated! I've resisted the impulse-buy option so far, but I don't know how much longer I can hold out. I am excited to get started..

I didn't think the "Get Hung" guide would have girls eyeing my bulge. It did.
I didn't think that your exercise and diet advice would have girls checking me out. It did.
I DEFINITELY didn't think that your hair-loss prevention would fix my hairline. Not in a billion years. It mother fucking did. You saved me a crazy amount of time, a ton of money, unnecessary pain, and destroyed my #1 source of anxiety. DESTROYED IT.
