Jelqing combined with bathmate is a VERY intense workout. So there are 2 options :
1) Do one in the morning, one in the evening (jelqing first)
2) Do them one after another (jelqing first)
Jelqing should always go first. Option 1 is good for newbies, option 2 is good for veterans. If you pick 2, don't do too many jelqs at once. Start with 25 jelqs and add 25 each session, so you'll get a feel.
In theory you could add 25 each session until you reach a point where you feel it's too much, then slow it down and just add 25 each week. The final goal should be 1000 jelqs. But don't hurry, just give it time.
You can jelq with one hand, but it's usually done with 2. Here is the secret. You want to prevent turtling, and you also want to hit as much length as possible, including a bit of the inner penis.
Here is how you do it. Masturbate a bit to get a very slight erection, mostly just well elongated, tug for 3 seconds to really get the whole length out. Now you're penis is long and plump, but not erect yet, that is the state you want it in.
Next grab with thumb and index at the very base and start moving towards the glans, stop at the begging of the glans. When you are near the glans use the other hand and grab the base of penis and tug it in the opposite direction just before you finish doing the jelq, then use your other hand and again when you almost finish the jelq grab the base with the other hand and pull in opposite direction, then use it to jelq and so on.
The ideal length of a jelq is around 3 seconds (count normally like this "1 and 2 and 3 and"). That's how long it should last. When you are at 3 simultaneously tug in opposite direction.
Every 100/150/200 jelqs stop, do some stretches, masturbate or crank a bit, just to get blood flowing again and keeping penis lengthy and plump (as it will tend to turtle).

Jelqing is mainly girth, but does add length, especially when doing less erect. To get maximum length result always jelq right from the base. I recommend starting at a higher level of erection as it will tend to subside over 100-200 jelqs and you will need to get blood flowing again (so start at 50-70% erection and it will go towards 30-40% after 100-200, therefore you will get both a good girth AND length workout.).
