TOPIC: From X30 to X40 Xtreme - first impressions

So I finally bit the bullet and got the X40 Xtreme. I was getting pretty bad gaitor bite in the X30, and a ring around my base that would then slightly discolor at the comfort ring. I still had length room in it, but I was going off the scale a bit, around 182mm at best. Today I received my X40 Xtreme. The first thing I noticed is, holy shit, this thing is huge compared to the X30! I won't be outgrowing this thing, that's for sure, but I was concerned that there might be some downsides due to having a larger pump. The Xtreme comes with all kinds of bells and whistles to justify the price I guess.

After using the Hercules and now X30 for a couple of years, I'm pretty used to how they operate. The XX40 is slightly different, but can be used in the same fashion as an X40, just by pushing the pump down as normal. Another problem that I was seeing with the X30, is that I really had to jam on this thing to get to max pressure, and that was pretty uncomfortable. A couple of times, the gaitor buckled over while doing this and I was afraid I was going to have a broken dick.

Anyway, the base is larger, obviously, to provide for additional girth. This takes up more real estate on your body, but I didn't have any real issue with it. You'll probably want to make sure your balls are warmed up thoroughly so that they are hanging low, and don't get sucked in. An elastic hairband thing will help with this also. It took me a couple of times to figure out how the valve on the top worked with the handpump, but after I figured it out it was extremely easy, and I enjoyed that type of pump instead of crushing it down into your pelvis. When pumping with the hand pump, you can make small and steady increments in pressure. I wasn't having the best pumping day in the world, but I hit 183-184. After that, it didn't pump any more. I believe I've read that it may have a pressure regulator of sorts, that won't allow you to go beyond a certain level. I was really hoping to squeeze a bit more out, but it wasn't happening today. Overall though, I did enjoy how the pressure is achieved - much more so than ramming the pump into you, which can be quite painful.

I had no gaitor bite either which was a welcome change. Overall, I'm definitely digging this thing and I might just go use it again today!

The X30 Xtreme is the best pump I have use period. Thing is amazing with or without the handball pump.

I'm seriously about to buy one. I was one step away from getting one, then I had to come here to read some more about it. Now I'm convinced and will go ahead and buy it.
