It's almost Black Friday and I'm expecting a sale from bathmateshop.us (the website Chris recommends). Black Friday should be the best time to buy a Bathmate.

I was looking at the size guide and somewhere on that page it says "DO NOT simply buy the biggest pump. Take measurements and buy for YOUR right size!"

So my questions is, Why Shouldn't I Buy The Bathmate Hydromax X40 Xtreme?

My penis length and girth is average (the last time I checked) so based on their size guide I should get the Hydromax X30 Xtreme.

I don't ever want to buy another Bathmate though. So why not get the biggest (even if my penis is average in size)?

The water is going to fill the space left inside and there should still be suction, so I don't understand why they would say that. Except maybe in hopes that I would outgrow one and have to buy another.

Even though my penis is average in size, should I just get the X40 Xtreme?

Has anyone with an average penis size bought the X40 Xtreme?

Thank you for the reply man! I was scared that maybe there was something I didn't know about the Bathmate. It just makes more sense to get the X40 Xtreme. I really hope there is a sale on Black Friday. If there is, I will buy it and maybe keep a progress log here.

A lot of guys have a lot of more info on this topic I have just been reading around, but I hear the x30 is a lot more manageable and doesn't suck in your balls as much as the bigger x40... and depending on your current size it is very unlikely to outgrow a x30...depending on your starting size of course.


I am also debating the same thing.

Well I will be going from an X30 to an X40 Xtreme here soon, it's on its way. I'll try to let you guys know how the transition is. I felt I was outgrowing my X30 and getting pretty bad bite at the base, and even discoloration around where the comfort pad sits. My base girth is around 6.5, and I think I calculated the X30 to take 6.7 or so. Most likely I'm filling it up when pumping.

I'm not sure how optimistic I'd be about a Black Friday sale. I don't think I've ever seen sales on Bathmates. There's a guy on Matters of Size though that has one for sale that he used once for $230. There also was an open box one on sale, that went for $280 on ebay.

There's been BM sales in the past - though randomly, I think I've only ever seen one Black Friday sale.

The only reason I would opt for an Xtreme x30 over the x40 is size. I like to stand/shower/do stuff and the x40 imo seems too large & heavy to accomplish that. Also easier concealment for travel, etc.

I'm 6 inch erect length

5.25 erected girth

@Chicagochuck. I'm in a similar situation. I'm at 5.75 EL my BPEL is 6.75 and 5.5 girth. Make sure you using a bone pressed measurement for the bathmate. I'm going with the X40. I still gaining length through the SG, so like you I don't think it makes sense to go for the X30. If you're committed to putting the work to grow, the choice is obvious.
