Hey GLL's I always wondered how some guys can have rock hard immovable confidence .Like people have told me I'm shy or by looking at my face not confident and I hate hearing that because I thought I was past that stage of my life and when I associate shy I associate it with pussy especially if your a guy . I don't have problems talking to people or being on stage talking to people in groups .I'm a bit introverted and not a small talk type of guy. But I dont fear life ,social situations, being bymyself,standing for what I believe in ?Isnt that that confident enough??

you need 'above-average' confidence/sense of entitlement and good looks so women make it easy for you

The guys that have "rock solid" unbreakable confidence are in movie scenes that are shot 150times, or someone in a snapshot in time

Everyone has fears and insecurities , some people just hide it better then others .

A persons upbringing plays a huge role in their development , if you were contently pampered and never had to work for anything then you might grow up to be soft .
You said people commented that you look shy , maybe you feel confident but subliminally your showing signs that your not confident or in fear .

Putting yourself in situation that make you uncomfortable will build you as a Man , always getting out of your comfort zone will be a huge plus .
Some people are just fearless , and they get jobs like a test pilot or construction on sky scrappers .

I myself have alot of fear and paranoia , I prob got it from my moms side . Any situation that I encounter I automatically assume the worst possible out come , I start getting breathing problems , my mind starts to think about death , etc . I guess I just love life too much . I do have alot fear but Im not a pussy , Im confident with who I am and confident in most situations Im in . Fear could be a good thing .

Everyone gets nervous sometimes.
Everyone has their hang ups.

There is no such thing as immovable confidence.

BUT

There are guys, who go to the gym, eat foods that make them healthy, read books to expand their minds, have sexual experiences that leads to more confidence in your ability to please a woman, have friends who back them up and whom they would die for and vice versa, work to become financially secure and live a life that makes them happy. There are a lot of things that guys work towards that manifest in them and they become secure with who they are and could care less if someone doesn't like them.

I would say society views introversion as being "beta" or non-confident. Extroversion is far more attractive to in my experience as it shows you are socially capable. I am speaking from experience as I grew up very introverted and sheltered BUT I am always working to better myself and I can be the life of the party if I choose to. I can make people love me if I want to. I can really do whatever I want if I put my mind to it and that is what has really helped increase my own view of myself and my ability to really be the leader of my friends groups and a person a lot of my friends enjoy being around and look up to.

It's not they think they can do magical things, its that they dont give a fuck if someone sees them fail

the final product (when it goes well) appears like 'confidence' or 'strong frame'

Yeah I think so the person told me that I think because I was bymyself with women in the area on my computer sitting in a corner. This guy talks to me here and there but he doesn't know me. I have no fear in social interactions at all.I can easily entertain a group of friends.I used to cold approach alot. I have to walk a certain way or constantly be with girls to be seen as confident pssh But I guess since I'm bymyself in the laundry on my computer instead of small talking with the people or women there I'm shy? I dont know. I used to hate when I was with guy friends and they say yo 90s get at that like they mean approach the girl or run after her or something . I used to get pissed because it was like I'm lower then her or something and if I didnt do it I'm shy

The most successful guy i know in real life girls wise (banged 50 odd girls in his first two years of uni) had a complete mental breakdown last year and this meant i was playing counsellor to him a lot when we hung out. It was caused by his flatmate hooking up with his ex. He kept telling me shit like he couldnt understand it as he considered himself infinitely better looking than the guy. Anyway it really bothered him and shook his overall confidence.

But despite that he was still utterly fearless and uncaring when it came to random girls as they were just what he knew and had experience with. Basically enough exposure and success removes any self doubt and caring you have but only in the area in which those experiences happened. Im sure everyone pretty much knows of this. Though sometimes you dont even realise you have these areas that you are more confident in then everyone else as it is just normality to you and it would need to be pointed out before you noticed.
